Bio: Benkei is a member of the notorious Face Hunter gang. He has the potential to become a strong blader but he lacks the skill and ability. He fails to beat Ginga twice, looses against Kyouya once and also gets beaten by Daidouji. He receives his Dark Bull H145SD is Episode 04 - Rush! Bull's Power! He receives it as a gift from Daidouji. At the start, Dark Bull was too powerful for Benkei to control, so therefore had to "tame the bull" as such. After he learnt how to control Bull, he challenged Ginga to another battle. Unfortunately he looses once more to Ginga. Benkei is an evil character but is also the main comedian in the Metal Fight Beyblade Anime. He his constantly hurting himself. An example of this is when he is eating a Hamburger in Episode 04 - Rush! Bull's Power! As well as eating the hamburger, he also manages to consume his hands.

During episode 05 - The Cancer Of Revenge, Benkei helped Madoka escape from the hole in the ground that had crabs guarding it. He is also seen talking to Kenta, in a non-hostile way, in episode 06 - Aquario's Challenge! The teaser at the end of this episode also shows Benkei helping Kenta to become stronger. Benkei is seen countless times from episode 6 onwards helping Kenta and has friends. He is also befriended by Ginga and now battles with Ginga and Kenta to bring down the Dark Nebula.
