Fake Beyblades are a problem, espcially for those that are new to the game. They break easily and the parts tend not to fit correctly onto official blades. The stickers can be blurred due to poor copying methods and the weight disk they come with are usually darker, they don't have the shine to them. There are some blades that come with super large weight disks that have incredible endurance but are still, non-the less, fakes. Do not be fooled! Below I will show you how to spot the difference between Takara and TTHongli Beyblades.

TT Hongli Beyblade

Takara Official Beyblade

Here is how to spot the difference. There are three circles on the products. The box on the right is the official Beyblade and the one on the left is unofficial Beyblade.

  • Circle 1: The Japanese writing on the TTHongli box but none on the Takara box.
  • Circle 2: On official products have the TAKARA company print, TTHongli is a fake beyblade company.
  • Circle 3: On official beyblades they have the d-rights logo, but on the TTHongli box they have nothing.

These few rules apply for the majority of other fake companies. But be aware, check the boxes carefully before making a purchase. When shopping on the web, ask the supplier for further pictures if you do not trust what they provide on the website.
